SP’s Message

My heartiest greetings to you all. I am grateful to be thought worthy of being appointed as the Superintendent of Police of Sirsa. I am proud of serving the city, peaceful and internationally acclaimed. The Sirsa Police has long served the state with distinction and honour despite various constraints. It is significant that Sirsa remains one of the most orderly and peaceful city in Haryana, despite sizeable tourist arrivals and a vibrant grassroots level democracy.

In the face of new and emerging challenges like drug trafficking, cybercrime, road safety, safety of women, children & elderly and the ever present terror threats, we pledge ourselves anew and prioritize these areas for active focus. The well being and welfare of the police personnel will also continue to be our core concern.

We are committed towards preventing discrimination and exploitation of children. Police as well as the public at large require deeper engagement for empowering each child to lead a life of dignity, self-respect and independence, safe from violence and abuse. I would like to encourage parents, teachers and other protective adults to in still healthy self esteem and encourage respect and empathy for others, in children. To our dear children, I would state the simple rule of safety as ABC which stands for Always Be Careful.Sirsa Police recently launched the event ‘Operation Clean against Drug’ and I must say that this event has made good inroads in making Sirsa a smart city.

The first-of-its kind initiative 'Car Free Day' was launched in Sirsa jointly by the Sirsa Police and citizens’ forum – to observe the ‘Car Free Day’ every Tuesday in order to reduce pollution and traffic congestion.

I am sure that citizens/users shall find the website useful and give constructive feedback through email spsrs[at]hry[dot]nic.in so as to make it better the police public partnership. And Sirsa Police on Facebook as https://www.facebook.com/SirsaPolice0001/  will also further strengthen our engagement. I urge the citizens to give correct and timely information to police so as to have an immediate and effective response from our side.
